Handpull cask at the Crown, Uppingham. Light gold. Clear with a big white head. Lemon/grapefruit, grass, hay and some soap in the aroma. Tastes quite bland: a bit of tangerine-peel bitterness which stays on the tongue through the medium to long finish. Nothing to get excited about but drinkable.

Cask in the Admiral Benbow, Shrewsbury. Very pale with a thin white head. A little thin on flavour, but there are some pineapple and grapefruit flavours in there. Good for a pale ale.

Cask at GBBF 2013. Light golden bitter. Pleasantly hoppy, with a nice bitter finish. Actually not sure Im rating the same beer here - it was definitely called Ironbridge Gold and abv is the same, but the blurb on the tap said it was brewed with Centennial. Thats what I drank but seems very different from other reviews here.

Cask pour. Pours clear golden yellow with a small white head that dissipates with nice lacing. Aroma is very faint, perhaps a touch of honey. Flavor is grass, honey, surprisingly bitter, but without a lot of hop flavors to add to the mix. Medium body. Offputting, actually.

Had this at the Freewheel Brewing Co. in Redwood City (brewed on site). Nice clear golden colour with small head. Very light fizz. Nice British beer. (K)

Slightly hazed golden colored beer with a white head. Floral hops, mild grass, and some nice toasted bread. A hint of citrus peel, but a touch watery. The flavor is sweet and bready. Light toast qualities, some floral and grassy hops, light citrus peel, and some water.
