Handpull cask at the Crown, Uppingham. Light gold. Clear with a big white head. Lemon/grapefruit, grass, hay and some soap in the aroma. Tastes quite bland: a bit of tangerine-peel bitterness which stays on the tongue through the medium to long finish. Nothing to get excited about but drinkable. cgarvieuk (24230) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - AUG 10, 2015

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2013, Great British Beer Festival, London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX.
[ As Ironbridge Gold ].
Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, caramel, fruity, light moderate hoppy, grass, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, hoppy, malty, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat.
Cask in the Admiral Benbow, Shrewsbury. Very pale with a thin white head. A little thin on flavour, but there are some pineapple and grapefruit flavours in there. Good for a pale ale.

From cask. Pours cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is toasted malty and grassy. Bitter, grassy and vague herbal. Dry and bitter finish. JorgeLee (2092) - Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 16, 2013
Cask at GBBF 2013. Light golden bitter. Pleasantly hoppy, with a nice bitter finish. Actually not sure I’m rating the same beer here - it was definitely called Ironbridge Gold and abv is the same, but the blurb on the tap said it was brewed with Centennial. That’s what I drank but seems very different from other reviews here. bytemesis (8242) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - MAR 31, 2013
Cask pour. Pours clear golden yellow with a small white head that dissipates with nice lacing. Aroma is very faint, perhaps a touch of honey. Flavor is grass, honey, surprisingly bitter, but without a lot of hop flavors to add to the mix. Medium body. Offputting, actually. batneil (710) - - MAR 16, 2013
Had this at the Freewheel Brewing Co. in Redwood City (brewed on site). Nice clear golden colour with small head. Very light fizz. Nice British beer. (K) brokensail (16436) - Dublin, California, USA - FEB 21, 2013
Slightly hazed golden colored beer with a white head. Floral hops, mild grass, and some nice toasted bread. A hint of citrus peel, but a touch watery. The flavor is sweet and bready. Light toast qualities, some floral and grassy hops, light citrus peel, and some water.
