650 ml bottle from bev4less. Pours a murky dark brown color with a medium khaki head head that has fair retention. The aroma is strong with coffee, chocolate, hazelnut and mocha. The taste is similar to the aroma with the hazelnut really standing out. The coffees are similarly rich and strong and there is a bitter walnut hop presence. Most surprising to me is a lack of any real sweetness, just lots of roasted goodness. The palate is full and smooth with soft carbonation. Finishes long and dry with lingering coffee grounds. Overall: First rate stout, very tasty. This is only my second beer from this brewery and so far i have been impressed by them.

Clear dark brown black color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, chocolate, hazelnut, moderate roasted. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, hazelnut, chocolate, dark malt, dark chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. Dark brown, very dense and creamy and lasting brown head, beautiful! Huge hazelnut (liquor) aroma, with light American coffee, milk chocolate and some spruce in the back. Very creamy and foamy mouth feel, surprisingly easy to drink and even refreshing, to my surprise. Really nice, original brew. To my own surprise (I dont typically love nutty beers) I really liked this! (66cl bottle from Saveur Bire)

Dark beige head, creamy, over black beer. Sweet, chocolate, very roasted, but not a hint of a suggestion at bitterness in the nose. Sweet nuts. Taste however is dry, more coffee, roasted, and a sweetish, dessert-like finish, as crme brule or caf Liegois with mocha. Bit earthy too, but always sweet (ish). Well-bodied, but aftertaste comes on thinner, drier. Well-carbonated. Not bad, but too sweet for my full approval.

Keg at the bottle shop bermondsey. An opaque black / dark brown coloured pour with a lasting creamy tan head . Aroma is sweet peanut butter milkshake and shaved coconut, vanilla, creme caramel. Flavour is composed of bitter black malts, slightly ashy dry roast, dried cocoa, and more sweet and rounded milky roast, creme caramel and peanut butter. Palate is medium bodied, not too sweet either, airy frothy carbonation, and a drying slightly astringent finish. Good beer.

65 cl bottle @ Timo A.
Pours dark red-brown color with a small off-white head. Nice roast and coffee on the nose, chocolate, faint vanilla notes, nuts and caramel, some hops too. Sweet chocolate flavor, bitter coffee, roasted malts, some hops, finishes lingering bitter chocolaty. Very tasty and balanced.

22 oz bottle. Thanks Timo A! Black color with a small tan head. Chocolate, hazelnut, sweetness and malt in the aroma. Really enjoyable aroma. Roasted malt, strong dry coffee, ash and dryness in the flavor. Way too much coffee for me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
