COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It’s a sin to call this beer a pale ale, it’s so much more than that. Synner is slightly bitter with a punch in the face of hop aroma and flavor. Brewed in the tradition of a So-Cal session ale,it’s copper in color with a medium malt body. This ale is brewed to be dry on the palate and have a distinctive fruitness found in the aroma. Synner is sure to satisfy both novice and experienced ale drinkers.

650ml bottle. Minimally milky, orangey, pale golden colour with average to huge, foamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Citrusy, zesty, hoppy aroma, notes of lemon, hints of grapefruit, lemon zest, slightly biscuity, pale malty background. Taste is dry, punching bitter hoppy, weakly citrusy, zesty, notes of lemon, lemon zest, a mineral and chalky touch. Rather simple with distinctive bitterness.

Hazy gold beer, good cream colour head. Palate is perfectly minerally crisp. Thin malts provide a mild sweetness. Light fresh orange and orange peel. Some grapefruit before a crisp finish. Fresh peel bitter linger. A simple but near perfectly pitched APA, so crisp and fruity and refreshing.

bytemesis (8569) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - MAY 9, 2014
Bottle from GT2. Pours crystal clear orange with a small white head that dissipates quickly with good lacing. Aroma is a bit dank, tropical, passion fruit, wet leaves. Flavor is light plus sweet, light bitter, not harsh at all. Medium body. Nice little APA here!

Had on tap at the source. $5 for the full pint. Pours clear effervescent yellow with a thin, whitish head 1 finger in length. Experienced hops, cornmeal, spent grain, and bread yeast. Basic, but drinkable.

mavericks0619 (46) - San Diego, California, USA - JAN 4, 2014
UPDATED: JAN 5, 2014 Drinkable. Smooth but doesn?t do anything to excite me. Vegetal tastes with little maltiness. Bitterness is all on the back end. A lot of people like it, but it’s not for me.

4.1
Leighton (21489) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 1, 2014
Draft at the brewery taproom - Temecula. Pours clear gold with a moderate, white foam head. Solid beer in every respect. Big, dank citrus abounds with good hits of grapefruit and pee. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish with light pine bitterness and further citrusy notes. Outstanding.
