Keg, the local. Huge dry herby aroma, more of that on the taste, with big dry bitter waves of hops. West coast ramped. Good.

Yep, Ironfire is pretty reliable and this double is very well balanced; it has just enough alcohol punch without being distracting. The hops are not as punchy as I would have though--grassy even! Good to try. 22oz bottle

(Backlog) Bottle pour at home, picked this up in san diago at bottcraft. Amber pour, thin head, tone of hop bit on this one. Some ABV comes through on the finish. Nice beer to try.

Not the freshest bottle, about 6 months old. Almost clear gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is airy, mildly dry and has decent fine carbonation. Light dry pale malts, a little creamy sweetness. Piney hop. mild hop spice. Orange and ripe orange, little marmalade. Smooth pine. Light semi dry finish. Pretty good, has lasted well.

joeneugs (6371) - Livermore, California, USA - MAR 1, 2016
On tap at the brewery. It pours a pale yellow gold color with a white head. Aroma is strong with citrus and tropical fruit. Hints of florals, grapefruit and mango. The flavor has nice notes of candied grapefruit with some mint, spicy hop and solid earthy bitterness. Very bright and easy drinking for a big IIPA. Clean and fairly light bodied. Very good.

hayduke (5619) - Eureka, California, USA - DEC 12, 2015
sampled at gabf 2015. Orange in tasting glass. White foam. Medium body. Flavor has lot of fruit and some citrus. Finish is bitter. Darn good

Thanks! to Angela. 655 ml. bottle sampled @ ZZT XIII. Character on the label looks a bit like Eddie (Iron Maiden mascot). Almost clear orange, little bubbles. Nose is big pine resin, light onion, resin, light caramel & harsh pine resin & medicinal hops. Taste is hugely bitter, harsh medicinal & weed bitterness, pine, raw,… Big pine oil body. The bitterness is harsh on this one, I almost respect it more than I like it. It is nice but also it is too much for me to fully enjoy.

Pyrmir (6197) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - OCT 25, 2015
650 ml bottle at O’Connors, thanks Johan! Golden amber with off white head. Aroma hoppy, caramel, marmalade, citrus and piney hops. Taste is similar, high bitterness, tropical fruit, citrus, grapefruit with a mellow and complex malt backbone. Nice.

Martinus (4692) - Baarle-Nassau, NETHERLANDS - OCT 25, 2015
Clear golden colour, white head. Hoppy aroma, citrus peel, straw, apricot and resin. Bitter hoppy flavour, fruity, malts, did I mention hops? Bitter hoppy finish, apricot.
(from 75cL bottle @ ZZT XII, ’Getting Joes’d to it’ Oirschot. Thanks for sharing, Ansjelaah!)
