The beer is brewed using the same malt used for Caybrew and CayLight, but three speciality malts are added – a Munich malt, crystal malt and black malt. The Munich malt and crystal malt add flavour, while the black malt gives the beer its unique dark colour, as well as adding a roasted flavour.

The best so far from this brewery. Clear dark brown, off-white foam head. Caramel in aroma and taste, little on sweet side, still also some smoke there. (Cayman Islands 201702)

Grumbo (3456) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - JAN 30, 2017
Bottle picked up in Grand Cayman during a cruise stop. Pours bright copper brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of malt, toffee, biscuit, and alcohol. Medium+ sweetness and medium bitterness. Medium body and sticky texture, average to soft carbonation. Warming, tasty, quite decent overall.

Bottle. Toffee malt and dry hay aroma. Amber with large tan head. Moderately sweet toffee malt and moderately bitter earthy/light astringent hay flavor. Nice body. Pretty good.

ZacM612 (748) - San Antonio, Texas, USA - NOV 10, 2016
Bottle at The Green Parrot at Grand Cayman. Dark, malty, and smooth. Whitney even likes it. Enjoyed with some jerk chicken quesadillas. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can. Country tick thanks to Homer! Pours clear Amber hazel, small off white head, good enough lacing. Aroma is grainy, corn, roast, toffee, malt extract. Flavor is light plus sweet, very light bitter, malty, hints of grain and roast. Medium body, low acidity. Creamy mouthfeel. Not a bad beer. But of a chemical aftertaste.

Mariusz (12066) - Baden-Baden, GERMANY - AUG 6, 2016
Many thanks for this beer to Erzengel. Pours a light brown, clear color, small, but staying head. Very malty, bready aromas, appeals of wood.

Beerhunter111 (21762) - P´Castle, GERMANY - AUG 2, 2016
Klares dunkel bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit einer geringen beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch süß malzig, leicht karamellig und hopfig. Geschmack karamellig, süß malzig, leicht zitronig, interessant.
