Cask (gravity) @ The 16th Reading Beer and Cider Festival 2010, Reading, Berkshire England.
Clear medium orange color with a average, frothy - fizzy, open, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate to heavy hoppy, lemon, spicy - coriander, ginger, light cardemom. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, coriander, lemon grass, citrus. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat.
Cask gravity at Reading BF 2010. Gold, thin white head. Ginger aroma, then settles down with a herby golden beer middle. Not overly hoppy, but the spice works very well.
