Cask (gravity dispense) at Reading Beer Festival on 30 April 2011. A traditional English style bitter. Amber colour. Light earthy malts and butter but not very aromatic hops. Palatable, if middle of the road. Nothing particularly wrong with it, just not too exciting.

Clear medium amber colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, fruity - berries, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. 
Cask conditioned handpump Market Porter London. A dark brown coloured beer with an off-white head. A well balanced clean quaffing bitter. A nice malt/hop balance with subtle sweetness. An old fashioned brown bitter but well brewed.
