Limited bottle (from notes). Strong and barnyardy nose, with Belgian yeast notes. Creamy with wheat, and an increasing hop presence. Bittering gets a bits rasty in finish, but lingers in a pleasant way. Nice dfearnley (2284) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 16, 2013

Aroma of apples, lemon, wheat, and caramel with notes of Brett. The appearance is a hazy yellow with lots of particulates with (once it settled) a 1cm head and explosive effervescence. The taste is sour and a little bitter, but not over the top. TimE (6067) - Tokyo, JAPAN - NOV 5, 2010
Very yeasty nose. Light mouth, a bit sour, bananas, pears, apples, a touch of smoke. Great depth, butthe mouth is going like a million directions and I just can’t figure out what it wants to do. Lingering sour finish. Bizarre. Not my thing. pintbypint (3760) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - OCT 1, 2010
500ml brown bottle. Pours light gold colour, hazy. Full and fluffy white head with a lot of clinging foam. Interesting aroma with light sweetish lemons, wheat malt, very estery and yeasty - a times I pick up faint gum notes, others pineapple-ish fruit. Citrusy in the mouth with lemon and orange peel hop flavour, lots of yeast spiciness. Finishes dry with grassy hops, some lingering lemon/citrus and a good hit of spiced yeast. Medium body, mid to high level of carbonation. Very nice, decent hoppy profile for a wheat ale and the yeast keeps things interesting. Bottle. I’m impressed that I’ve only seen this in Medicine Hat! Pours a cloudy light yellow with an exuberent bubbly white head. Aroma is quite spicy with a faint plastic note. Very carbonated mouthfeel, citric and tart with wheaty and spicy flavours wrestling on the palate. Like a Belgian-style IPA.

Glowing gold with a large, rocky, white head. Was expecting more hops in the aroma. It’s mostly spicy yeast, some banana, fruit, light citrus, coriander. Full bodied with nice carbonation. Very spicy flavor. Yeast gets you, too. Again, was expecting more hops, though. Some banana, and citrus fruit along with the coriander, again. A very nice wheat actually, just not at all what I was expecting. (Bottle #’d 114 of 600) KyotoLefty (10599) - Kyoto, JAPAN - OCT 19, 2009
500 ml bottle from Tanakaya.
Cloudy light golden color with a huge, fine, foamy head. Spicy, earthy malt aroma, wheat, with a Belgian yeast character. A bit of hop aroma.
Very hoppy flavor, quite bitter and peppery. Wheat malt, fruit, quite spicy. Slightly creamy, with a farmhouse ale character. Earthy and quite bitter. Interesting. A bit reminiscent of a saison or biere de garde. Hops work, but there is little indication of why there are five used. Very unique and flavorful, though. Good. Draught at Popeye, Tokyo - as Imperial Wheat Ale. Cloudy yellow - white head. Citrus, grassy, nice hoppy, wheaty, zesty, yeasty, nice light bitterness, snooth body, fruity. Plain.
