Ever since we started brewing, we have always aimed to brew a “pure” and “clean” American Pale Ale. At Ise Kadoya, we capitalize on the characteristics of the Cascade hops by balancing the sweetness, body and bitterness of the aroma. We were very fortunate to be recognized by beer professionals with an award at the Australian International Beer Awards in 2003. Because we only use Cascade hops in our Pale Ale, the aroma differs slightly from batch to batch based on the particular characteristics of each years’ harvest. We invite you to enjoy the wonderful aromas and flavor that only Cascade hops can deliver.

Cascade hops aroma mixed with a somewhat odd sweet flavor. Overall, a decent APA, if a little thin.

Bottle- Pours a very hazy copper color with a big off-white head that fades to lacing. Aroma is primarily of citrus ad grain. Has somewhat of a roasted malt flavor with some citrus and a lasting bitterness. A fairly medium body which is quite smooth. Not bad for a Japanese brewed Pale Ale. I imagine it would be much better fresh on tap.

An opaque, copper colored beer. Gushed from the bottle but low carbonation. Mild hop aroma. Flavor is more complex with grain and more hops, as well as flowers and light spice. Mildly sweet aftertaste, followed by hops. Nice palate.

500 ml bottle thanks to Eric who picked this up in SoCal. Pours a very cloudy orange color with a huge creamy white head. A smooth biscuit and light hop aroma. A smooth nice flavor; sweet fruity hops, honey, dominant biscuit pale malts, some light bitterness in the finish. Some metal as well. Decent.

Bottle. Poured a clear amber color with a large frothy white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate earthy hop and malt aroma. Medium body with a dry slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium chalk dry bittersweet finish of moderate duration. I would not recommend this to a freind.

Bottle. Pours a hazy, orange-gold with a soft, white head. Pleasant, hoppy aroma with malty notes. Flavor has wonderful balance. Begins sweet with light bread and caramel, then goes into bitter territory. The hop presence is quite strong, a touch that I quite liked. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes lightly sweet with lingering, though not excessive, hops. Very good. I’m surprised by some of these low rates.

Bottled, light amber coloured beer with medium carbonation and an average white head. Light fruity touched malty hinted aroma. Medium to full palate. Finish is bitter hoppty, light fruity and dry sweet bitter near the end. Surprising but rather medium pale ale.

Excellent appearance - pale copper/orange with a thick creamy offwhite head and excellent lacing. Aroma of grassy and resin hops, some bakery scents and caramel. Flavor is mild, with caramel malt and some citrus hops in the finish. Unique beer that I would try again.

50cl [email protected] mondial de la biere Strasbourg. Disappointing nose. Pale gold in color. American pale stile. Light not so clean spicy nose. Bitter sharp tase, a bit harsh resinous and lingering. Dry hay. Thin mouthfeel

Little hazy orange coloured beer with medium white head and medium carbonation. Hoppy aroma. Full sparkling palate. Finish is hoppy bitter ending dry.
