Bottle from Tanakaya. Pours a slightly hazy copper with a finger of foam that dissipates quickly. Nothing on the nose. Maybe some faint malt or orange, but not really. Malty and heavy, with a cherry syrup thing going on. Excessively bitter to the point of being astringent. Sharp like when you throw up in your mouth a little. Just no. Tap at Tadg’s. Pale amber color, low head. Nice grassy, citrus nose, herbal. Light malt flavor, fruity and hoppy, dry finish with medium bitterness. Light and crisp. I like that it is well-attenuated and dry, rather than sweet.
