COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is extremely popular among our Pale Ale fans. Our recipe and its particular mix of three different kinds of hops creates a more complex and richer flavor than our Pale Ale by extracting the optimal amount of flavor and bitterness to create a clean finish. This Triple Hop Pale Ale has a short shelf-life since it is quickly snapped up by our fans.

Crisp, very hazy copper coloured body with a bright orange glow and a rusty look - very nice, coupled with a super dense, microfoamed tan head. Aroma of fresh soapy hops, some light cardboard and malt, a bit of unfinished wort and a touch of peaches. Medium-bodied; Assertive grassy and herbal hops with that soapy characteristic and a bit of caramel and caster sugar at the end. Aftertaste shows some caramel sweetness, a dry earthy hoppy character and a subtle, yet noticeable soapy finish. Overall, a good beer - not sublime, but not a bad representation of the style from the Japanese. I sampled this 50 cL slender bottle purchased from La Bodega (Yukon Spirits) in Anchorage, Alaska on 26-June-2010, sampled at home on the other side of the country in Washington on 31-September-2010.

Reviewed from notes. Tasted from bottle at Lush West Town. Pours a hazy orange with a thin white head. Nose is subdued but complex with fresh orange, grapefruit, bread, kumquat, and bitter hops. The flavors are very dry and bitter, slightly yeasty, and beautifully balanced bitterness. The body is medium with average carbonation and an awesome bitter finish.

Bottle. Poured a clear copper color with a huge frothy white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate grass hop and malt aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and lively carbonation. Medium grass bitter flavor with a medium dry chalk finish of moderate duration. I would not recommend this to a freind.

2010-07-04. Flavour has modest bitterness throughout, interesting mix of flavours, light green hops. Something I can not place cameos in the finish. 6+ Modest aroma, grassy floral hops, light toasty caramel. 6+ Average palate. Meh. Flavours do not quite come together for me. Bottle at Seattle International Beer Festival

[3111-20100704] Sample. Mild petrol grass aroma has mild fruit notes. Slightly hazy, light brown orange body with a medium-lasting foamy white head. Bitter grassy hops flavour has a surprising fruity mango finish. Medium body is a little bitter. Odd fruit notes to it.

Nose is rather light with earthy hops, sweet-ish malty notes, light fruity yeasts and hops as well. Pours hazy golden orange with a short lived head. The flavor is nice and fruity with a good deal of pineapple, earthy characteristics, nice malty aspects and some citrus and pineapple that rounds out the finish. Lightly dry, fruity hops. Enjoyable.

Geez, after reading a few of the recent reviews, I was prepping myself for a less than ideal beer. And all l can think is they musta got some old stuff or something. This one is pretty decent and true to style. Poured with gigantic, cream colored head that lasts a long time and a little lace. Color is a clear orange amber. Aroma is a nice hoppy, malty, and a bit yeasty beer. Flavor is like aroma. Body is good and so is carboantion. Good quaffing brew. Balanced. Nice easy finish of short to medium length that is like flavor. Session beer. Except for the crazy price.

Bottle shared by Marc with me and THierry.
Appearance : Clear light orange with a huge head.
Aroma : Light hops, maybe notes of tea. A bit veggy. Spicy. ALso a bit peppery maybe.
Taste : Not much going on. Some malt, some hops, a bit bitter. Some fruity notes with spices.Finish is a bit hoppy with some malt and cereals.
Overall : Taste gets better near the end of the glass. Very avereage beer. Gorgeous bottle however !

UGGG…I hate my life now that I have had this beer. What the hell is this?!?! Hoppy gueuze funk aroma with citrus and wood. Brew looks honey brown, slightly cloudy and has a not bad cap. Flavor is much of the same gueuze, with hop, rubber boot, sour, more wood, some leaf. WTF. This is the strangest thing. I hate it yet it intrigues me. Die dove for making us share it with you. Maybe if a third bomb was dropped this beer never would have been made…….i guess we’ll never know.
