Draft not much of a lager drinker so for me its a river beer at its best. But at that I would drink something cheaper.
A light yellow beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of malt and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and straw as well as a bit of butter, leading to a bitter finish. brokensail (16432) - Dublin, California, USA - AUG 14, 2012
Pours a slightly cloudy straw color with a white head. The nose is incredibly light. A weird lemon and lemon zest aroma. Minimal malt character, a touch of yeast, maybe some orange. The flavor is quite bland and very light. Mild grass and straw, a hint of malt, maybe some lemon zest in there, too. Lighter than a good deal of the light lagers I’ve had. beersearcher (2382) - Glendale, California, USA - OCT 24, 2010
Pours a light yellow in color. Aroma is faint. Not much of the tinny-ness that I normally get with lagers. Pretty sweet. Corn pop-ish tastes here. Could do with more fizz to counteract the sweetness. BMan1113VR (7931) - Los Angeles, California, USA - SEP 12, 2010
Bottle marked "limited release 2010" purchased at the brewery. Minimum hiss noise when opening. Pours with a clear golden body with a scant white head that fades to a ring quickly. Aroma of corn, bitter tannins extracted from grain, bread, earthy and woody (probably from tannins, not hops, but we will see), popcorn. Taste is dry, bitter, quite tannic, dry, earthy, popcorn, grassy, styrofoam. Not quite as bad as it sound, but I wouldn’t want to drink more than 4 ozs of this 22oz bomber. Wondering what went wrong with this one. Dry with decent carbonation. Not a great beer.

9/20/09 notes: on tap, brewery. Pours straw gold with a small head. Nothing to get much worked up about this one. Flavor and aroma are minerally, watery, bready and slightly grassy. A hint of grassy bitterness on the finish. Everything seemed so faint, but I’m sure that was kind of the intention of this one.
