Flaske 500ml fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Langnes. Delt med EgilB på Nerstranda 19 Mai 17. Gylden. Uklar. Middels høyt kremaktig skum. Spotlacing. Lett torvaroma. Smaken tørr & vassen. Spor av whisky - men en skuffelse. Beerkenstock (111) - Baden-Württemberg, GERMANY - APR 26, 2017
Eye: pours a magnificent golden color with a quickly dissipating small white head
Nose: smells fresh, sweet lemon-like hops with a tendency to IPA bitterness, orange, floral
Mouth: subtle carbonation, bitterness and (british) orange marmelade, slightly smoky
Palate: IPA, bitter-sweet malts, roasted or even burnt nuts or cole, a bit smoky, ashes
Overall: seems like an IPA with a hint of smoke and burnt (or in whisky terms toasted) wood/cole. BenL8 (183) - SWITZERLAND - APR 6, 2017
Pours pale amber, rather hazy with some yeast sediment. Some lasting white frothy head. Aroma is sadly almost nonexistent. Tiny bit of malt, tiny bit of hops. Flavours is rather nice, malty, caramelly sweet, with a nice hoppy bitterness. Lingering bittersweet finish. Quite nice, IPA-like (English IPA). 17Beer (343) - Connecticut, USA - MAY 22, 2016

50cl bottle from the Scottish Real Ale shop.
Appearance - golden orange with a soft fluffy head.
Nose - burnt orange and orange pith.
Taste - more sharp orange flavours against a crunchy malt background.
Palate - close to medium bodied with a crunchy texture and a long dry finish.
Overall - a bit too challenging to be easy to drink but it does have an enjoyable aspect. OleR (4804) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUN 6, 2014
Clear, pure amber colored. Fully fading white head. A nice touch of citrus fruity hops to the nose. Weak generic malt aroma. Light body. Taste is hop driven. Zesty, grassy and light resinous. Some dryish lighthly toasted malts in the backbone. A pretty good quecher. [Bottle at Lochindaal Hotel, Port Charlotte, Isle of Islay, Scotland. 02.09.13]
