Bragesnak (5394) - Aarhus, DENMARK - AUG 3, 2008
Islay Brewery, Scotland. Bottled, 260708. Amber with a very nice lasting white head. Aroma complex of fruit, citrus and toffee. Flavor with a nice balance of malty sweetness and a grapefruit sourness. Medium bitter. Best pint I had in Scotland!

Bottle. Bright orange-gold with thick stable head. Aroma is gin-like with floral hop notes. Soft palate. Really lovely hoppy flavors here. the malts are richly smoky, toasty. The hops are lovely with citrus peel, bitter herbs, and dry flowers. Gorgeous!

berkshirejohn (6499) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - MAY 26, 2008
Bottle conditioned, 50cl, from Westholme Stores, Goring-on-Thames, Oxon. Amber with a thick white head; fruity apricot aroma; slightly sour grapefruit flavour to start, rather like a kriek, then an explosion of intense chewy bitterness leaving a dry finish. Excellent.

HeistAlmighty (1156) - Saint John, New Brunswick, CANADA - JUL 10, 2012
500ml bottle. Pours a hazy blonde with some lively carbonation and a small white head. Aroma is suprisingly complex for the style: hops, citrus, sweet fruitiness, earthy, a some used bookstore. Sweet malt at the front of the tongue, some earthy bitterness on the finish, and a touch of peat and sourness. Medium body. Dry finish. Overall, delicious, fresh tasting and well balanced.

Bottle picked up from Westholme, Londis, Goring-on-Thames, Oxon, had this 11-05-08 This has a nice bite to it, good fruitiness, some soft slightly sour apricot. Poured hazy amber in colour with a tiny white head and film of thin white bubbles, quite refreshing on a summers day.

500ml bottle on Islay May 2012. Hazy, golden coloured with, medium white head. Fruity, hoppy and woody aroma. Sweet malt, yeast and hint of whisky in taste. Medium body and soft carbonation. Best Islay ale in my opinion.
