A deep dark reddish brown ipa with a thin lacing creamy brown head. In aroma, nice light chocolate malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, faint Brett, pleasant. In mouth, a nice bitter herbal chocolate malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, light Brett, very nice and earthy. On tap at L’autre oeil.

On tap (4 oz) at Le Saint-Bock. Slightly hazy dark copper with a small beige head, good retention, leaving intense lacing. Aroma is of moderate rye spiciness, toasted malt, caramel and roasted notes. Taste is mild but never boring with toasted malts leading the way alongside cushy caramel malt (surprisingly deep for a Two Penny), roasted notes and very mild rye spiciness presence. Light to medium body. Medium carbonation. Toasty finish. Very easy drinking. Mild, but flavorful and never watery nor boring. Good stuff.
