Bottle at LKS big thanks to Dave.! It pours clear amber – copper with a small white head. The aroma is toasted grain, earth, spice, rivita, brown bread and wood. The taste is crisp, dry, toasted nut, wood, earth, leather, dried fruit and a touch of spice. Medium body and fine carbonation. A pretty average ramber ale, but there isn’t anything wrong with it. Drinakble

Leighton (21839) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 6, 2017
Bottle shared in Hackney - thanks to WW. Pours clear copper with a creamy, white head. The nose holds lightly toasted brown bread, some berries, faint leaves. Light sweet flavour with low bitterness, hearty bready pale malts, nips of toast, toffee, background berries. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Easygoing finish, with more bready malts, a little cherry. Pretty enjoyable stuff.

Like water with some stale bread and a hint of dusty caramel. It’s not great

Per my notes at the time: "like a maltier Budweiser mixed with water." Don’t think there’s much to add.

Pours a dark but clear amber with a white head. Biscuity malt aroma. Fairly bitter taste.

Bottle at Lochaitloirt Inn. Pretty average pale ale. Serve at the right temperature and nice to see a relatively local beer.
