500ml bottle as Skye Black. More dark brown than black. Aroma is caramel, honey, coffee & fruit. The taste is similar with medium sweetness and light bitterness with a little sourness on the finish. Quite complex flavours, a little watery on the palate. Very good though.

DruncanVeasey (8225) - NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - FEB 28, 2017
Probably from Dobbies, February 2016. Dark ruby with a narrowing beige foam. Thin gruel atop a Black Grouse with little dabs of brittle burnt paper and charcoal character. Nose of rust, liquorice and bramble. More of a rusty schwarz than a stout. Its OK.

Aroma; chocolate, roasted malts, nuts, sweet coffee, dust, sweet attic, caramels, vanilla, cream. Look; fawn head, ruby black clear body. Taste; mild roasted malts, caramel, grassy sweet hops, vanilla, cream, milk note - leading to a mild sweet finish, a little hops twist too. Feel; lightbodied, soft. Overall; easy one, clean, very light as porter. [50cl.btl abv4.5% BB.08/2017 #0402 [email protected] Troms]
