PalCabral (162) - SWEDEN - AUG 29, 2014
Notes from trip to Scotland summer 2014. Bottle labeled Skye Red. Pours dark red-brown with a white head that settles to a thin but lasting layer of scum. The arome is faint but sweet, with some scents of berries. The taste follows the nose, it is sweetish with taste of forrest berries. There’s some balancing bitterness in there too. The beer is rather thin with a very short aftertaste. Drinkable but not necessarilly memorable.

jamestulloch (4471) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - AUG 14, 2014
Bottle from Drinkmonger. Clear deep red body with a thin off-white head. No visible carbonation. No lacing. Aroma of wet wood and red apple. Flavour of earth, red apple and slightly sour malts. Thin body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. A decent Bitter. As an aside, the new branding is excellent, and it was a good idea to simplify the names of the core range. (Well done Stand Design.)

Fin (11171) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - AUG 10, 2014
Bottle a gift courtsey of Nic and Anna (former neighbours) cheers! Consumed at home Sunday 10th August 2014 Pours reddy/amber with a white head, good clarity. Fairly typical bitter, fruity, bit safe, mid bitterness. Nothing wrong with this, its fine but lacks a hoppiness or crispness to keep me interested to the end. A6 A4 T5 P3 Ov10 2.8
