Draft at Collins Pub. Hazy bright copper with a thin white head. Light body and carbonation. Aroma of fruit, nuts and citrus. Taste is much the same, but adds a bit of vanilla. Goes a little watery in places and has a somewhat grainy finish. beerinmarch (2830) - Washington, USA - NOV 27, 2006
On tap at the Portland Rogue House. Pours orange/golden, very clear, with a small white head. Citrus hop aroma. Taste had a light maltiness up front, but just tasted bitter throughout. Slight diacytle flavor, but not offensive. Nice easy drinking brew though, just a bit to bitter in the aftertaste. 3fourths (9358) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - NOV 15, 2006
UPDATED: DEC 12, 2006 Just saw this was listed as an IPA! HAH! The furthest thing from it. I’m going to make an imperial stout with brett and call it an IPA just for shits and giggles. It’ll be fun to see how the RB folks categorize this one. Call it what you like, but this is no IPA. Draft at the Rogue Public House in Portland. Appearance is slightly cloudy orange, similar to a hefeweizen, with a small white head. Nose of strong honey and light orange peel, flavor is similar but the orange peel is stronger and the honey presence is lighter. Smooth and a little pasty, but otherwise a solid beer. Mellow.
