Half pint on hand pump at Victoria Hotel in Leeds. Clear amber, firm white head, good lacing. Malt-fruity aroma. Caramel malts to the taste buds partly offset by mild, fruity bitterness. Malt bittersweet ending. Rather tasty (11.07.2012). Benjii (3049) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUL 18, 2012

Cask conditioned handpump Adelphi Leeds 24/07/12. An amber coloured beer with a tight white head and lacing. A biscuity beer with light hop notes. Fairly dry. Mostly sweet; certainly not an APA as claimed on the pumpclip. zacgillbanks (5288) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - MAR 24, 2013
Bottle from Morrisons, Chester-le-Street. A golden beer with citrus fruit and toffee flavours with a bitter woody hop finish. AshtonMcCobb (6667) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUL 24, 2012
On tap @ the Haymarket. Pours a dark golden colour with a nice head. The nose has grass, maybe lemon on the end. The taste is of coffee grinds, cream and more coffee on the end. The palate is drying and lacking bitterness. Overall, too coffee for me but it grows! dynamiteninja (1866) - Norfolk, ENGLAND - AUG 28, 2012
Gold body. Large white head. Hoppy, more white sherbet. Astringent. Very dry finish. kwik-lime (1946) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 4, 2012
Hoppy, quite earthy, some ash, slightly cloying. Interesting bitter, but not convinced that's a good thing.
