Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel - toffee, flowers - apple. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat.
Hand pulled cask at the Moon and Sixpence (JDW) Hatch End. Amber with a white head. A typically unimaginative offering from this most boring of brewers. Watery toffee malt and the bare minimum of hops.

Market Porter, Borough, London. Grainy, almost earthy malt flavours. Feels quite rough on the tongue, with some sligtly harsh acidity or something. Whatever it was, i didn’t find this pleasant at all.
Handpump, Market Porter. Malty beer, but some hops in the finish. Not really well balanced, and there is some yeasty residue on the tongue. Try again! harrisoni (18820) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - DEC 4, 2006
Cask handpump, Market Porter. Disappointing standard bitter. Some noticeable hop on finish.
