berkshirejohn (6534) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - MAR 21, 2014
Cask at the Spring Equinox beer festival at the Rose & Crown, Sandhurst. Golden amber with a ring of white head; somewhat spicy aroma; firm hoppy taste with a malty body; and a firm finish. An OK bitter.

Leighton (21511) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 28, 2011
Gravity cask at the Wandsworth Halloween Festival 2011. Pours rich gold with a faint, white head. Toasty grain malt aroma. Tangy malt flavor, light sugars, faint toast. Light bodied with fine, soft carbonation. Mild sweet finish, more tangy malts, only very faint bitterness. Nothing special.

SaintMatty (7423) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - SEP 2, 2010
Cask (Standing Order JDW, Southampton) - Copper coloured. Fruity aroma with hints of fruit cake. Fruity taste with raisins, caramel, spicy malt and some tangy notes.

Cask (handpump) @ The Masque Haunt, 168-172 Old Street, Old Street, Greater London, EC1V 9BP.

Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel - toffee, flowers - apple. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20100730]

bobinlondon (1297) - Harrow, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 17, 2010
Hand pulled cask at the Moon and Sixpence (JDW) Hatch End. Amber with a white head. A typically unimaginative offering from this most boring of brewers. Watery toffee malt and the bare minimum of hops.

DruncanVeasey (8239) - NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - MAY 11, 2010
Cask handpull, The Crown, Nuneaton. Orange-copper with a thin off-white lid. Slight dog aroma, strawberry jam, farmyard. Damp and strange; cherry lollies, rotting hay. Not great.

will1 (140) - Hampshire, ENGLAND - MAY 9, 2010
Take-out from the cask Winchester Farmers’ Market. Cloudy copper colour with little head and little carbonation (had been dispensed a few hours before though). Sweet malt flavour, not too bitter.

duff (5484) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - DEC 11, 2006
[email protected] Market Porter, Borough, London. Grainy, almost earthy malt flavours. Feels quite rough on the tongue, with some sligtly harsh acidity or something. Whatever it was, i didn’t find this pleasant at all.

KnutAlbert (6753) - Oslo, NORWAY - DEC 5, 2006
Handpump, Market Porter. Malty beer, but some hops in the finish. Not really well balanced, and there is some yeasty residue on the tongue. Try again!

harrisoni (18820) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - DEC 4, 2006
Cask handpump, Market Porter. Disappointing standard bitter. Some noticeable hop on finish.
