Cask at the Westgate, Winchester. Nil aroma. Light amber. Thin white blotchy head. Light bitter. Malty. Thin. Light. Flat carbonation. Long malty finish. Bog standard bitter.

Bottle from the source. Slow gusher. Crystal clear golden color, massive white head. Sublte straw aroma. Taste is lightly peppery.

Cask. Clear hazelnut brown with a small white good lacing head. Nutty, dry flowers, dark berries, hay. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, light/medium sweet and medium bitter. Light bitter finish. Pretty solid.

Bottle, deep amber-brown with a fine head, sweetish malty nose with a hint of strawberry, earthy and nutty bitter-sweet body, dry-bitter and lightly burnt finish. Very nice.

On cask. Victoria station JWD. Appearance: Amber orange, small off white head. Aroma: grainy, cereal, grassy hops. Flavour: mildly bitter, decent malt and hop balanced with a medium bitter finish. Quite simple and not bad at all.

Cask at the liberty boinds . not much aroma some mineral. Light amber colour with a lasting white head and lace. Flavour I’d papery stale malt and apples. Not good at all. Light spicynes in the finish.

Cask at the Oxenhope Beer Festival. Pale ale with little head. Quite a nice fruity little number. Light and refreshing and quite sweet. Very quaffable.

Cask at the William Morris, Hammersmith, 15/06/13. Clear golden with an off white head, good lacing ensues. Nose is summer fruits, caramel, bitter orange, light piss, malt. Taste comprises citrus, light grass, toch of hops, orange pith, malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, bitter notes in the finish. Decent bitter served in prime condition.
