Cask at the market porter. Alround rating: This is a brown ale not a premium bitter. Brown ale malts, nutty, caramel, hay hop.

Cask Conditioned at Wenlock Arms, London
Amber color. Light caramel aroma. Sweetish caramel flavor, very simple, with a light nutty touch. Easy.

Nightfall (1307) - Hamburg, GERMANY - DEC 22, 2008
Cask @ Wenlock Arms with Magic Dave6 and Mes. Caramel colored. Nuts caramel and biscuit flavors and similar aroma. I was sure that this was a brown ale. I found it rather refreshing and easy drinking.

A Mes rate: Cask at Twickenham Beer Fest. Plenty of citric hoppy notes all round. Totally run-of-the-mill. Unfortunately.

bluevegie (3073) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - JUL 1, 2006
Cask @ Wenlock Arms. May 06. My first beer at the Wenlock and probably not the best beer there on the day. Thought it may have been a nut brown ale but obviously I was wrong.

chriso (7533) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 2, 2005
Deep amber colour. Plenty of hops, fruit and malt in good balance. Maybe a hint of sulphur in the aroma. Medium bodied. A very tasty strong bitter. Cask (gravity dispense), Reading Beer Festival 2005.

Copper in colour. Hoppy aroma. Nutty biscuity flavours with a hoppy dry finish. Refreshing citrusy bitter.
