Cask at the Prince Arthur (JDW), Fleet. Amber with a tight cream head, some effervescence; and a grainy aroma; rather thin to start with weak fruit flavours and a grainy body, but then improving with a full body and honey and tropical fruit flavour - perhaps as it warmed; the finish has light fresh hops and some biscuit. A pleasant golden ale. will1 (140) - Hampshire, ENGLAND - APR 11, 2010
From cask at Winchester Farmer’s market. Pale straw colour, slight head. Bitter but not overpoweringly so. Grapefruit and and caramel hints in aroma and flavour. Very refreshing. evergreen0199 (3420) - Northwood, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 31, 2009

Cask (South Western Arms, Southampton) - Golden in colour. Grapefruit and pineapple aroma. Hoppy taste with sweet pineapple and grapefruit followed by a bitter, hoppy and fruity finish. This beer is very inconsistent (just like the brewery) and I have had this in better form but it’s still fairly nice. fiulijn (20806) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 13, 2009
Cask conditioned at The Bree Louise, LondonFatPhil (16390) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUL 15, 2008
Deep blond color. The aroma has some malt, caramel and sugar; light hop, lightly grassy and citrusy. Light malt flavor, semi-sweet mouthfeel, with a quite good hopping, a bit grassy and floreal. Side-to-side with the Skinner’s Cornish Knocker it’s not so characteristic and original, but not bad anyway.

Light orange, small head. Slightly citrussy aroma. Refreshing, light malty body, soft hops. Not particularly exciting, but easily drinkable.
