500ml bottle from Real Ale, Twickenham. I had this years ago on cask at the Market Porter and remembered liking it, so I decided to buy this when I saw it. Golden with thin white head. Lovely hop aroma of US fragrant hops. Slightly sweet in mouth and could do with a touch more roundness from the malt. Then beautiful US hop finish, all citrus and compelling. As fresh as cut grass. This has a good sparkle and more hops bitterness than expected. Floral, oily hops finish this good beer. RobBestwick (982) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - APR 11, 2003
rich malt and hop aroma, pale and slightly cloudy gold hue, deep malt character with hoppy notes, grapefruit hints, complex and enjoyable imdownthepub (15519) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - NOV 9, 2003
Bright Beer at The Coachmans Rest, Enstone, Oxon. Yellow golden beer with no head. Itchen valley beers seem to employ a malty sweetness that could be cloying but in this case works very well. Full bodies, well hopped with aromatic variety. A very pleasant beer drunk in a very pleasant place, many thanks Paul. thunder_head1 (79) - Reading, Berkshire, ENGLAND - NOV 20, 2011

UPDATED: SEP 7, 2009 Cask, on 4th September 2009, at the Racehorse, Carshalton, Surrey, UK. Clear, copper-coloured with a small white head of foam. Bitter with roundedness from malts tempering the citric hop. Saline mouthfeel and the drinker left wanting more. Garrat (1347) - Suffolk, ENGLAND - FEB 14, 2005

(Cask at Charles Dickens, Southwark, London, 26 Nov) Pale amber colour with small white head. Fruity nose with grapefruit, apricot and fresh earthy hops. Fruity taste with grapefruit, dried apricots and a nice hoppy bite in the finish. Nice and hoppy. jmgreenuk (10343) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - APR 3, 2014
Cask at The Anchor, Digbeth, Birmingham. Poured a hazy light golden amber with a thin broken white head and some broken lace. The aroma is tropical fruit and I swear a little honey. The flavour is medium to light bitter with a smooth watery flowery spice hop palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation. A super session ale. Lots going on.
