Pint at the Crispin in Wokingham. Dark red with a bubbly cream head. A little dry, slightly bitter, palatable. Hopped fruity aroma. Light and gluggable. Drinkable but ultimately forgetable.

Pours clear copper colour with no head. Aroma of mild fruits, distant berries and caramelly and grassy malts. Flavour of grass, malts and mild fruits. Inoffensive.

Clear medium amber - orange color with a average, frothy to creamy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, dusty old malt, notes of apple overripped fruit. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20091227]
