An easy-drinking wheat beer is light in color and body...perfect for the warmer weather. In crafting this fine ale, we add many pounds of real apricot fruit to create a "secondary fermentation." This creates a gentle wheat beer with just a hint of apricot flavor in the finish. A very drinkable, mildly fruity ale.

Bottle->shaker. Hazy pale gold with thick frothy white head. Aroma and taste are strong apricot, wheat, grains. Nope.

Bottle (12 oz) bought @ Rouses Point Beer Emporium. No idea how old it is.

Appearance: Clear pale yellow/golden with a medium quickly disappearing white head and little lacing.

Aroma: Gummy peaches mostly with light herbal notes and not much else.

Taste: Not very tasty. Mild gummy peach and light wheat acidity. Other than, there isnt much more.

Palate: Light body. Medium carbonation. Really watery. Bland finish.

Overall: Very disappointing beer from Ithaca. Aroma is quite artificial despite real fruits being used. Bland and watery.

On tap at Ward 8 Pale orange color with a long lasting head. Overpowering apricot aroma and flavor. Kind of like a beer cooler, but it kind of worked.

For what this is, its really good. I am not a fan of these sort of ham fisted fruit brews but this is head and shoulders above most of its ilk--not that that makes for an especially great beer. This is cloudy orange in color with a small white head. This claims to have "just a hint of apricot flavor in the finish" and that may well be true but the nose is fairly well bathed in and dripping with apricot flavor. It is a bit heavy handed but not altogether unpleasant. This is just a touch sweet and really pretty bland except for the apricot flavor. Its medium bodied w/ moderate carbonation and finishes pretty clean. Id imagine I could slug a few of these back right from the bottle if I so desired and enjoy them well enough but from a glass the apricot does get to cloy after a while.

Rating from March 2014...Straw color...off white head....pretty basic looking for a wheat.....a nice whiff of apricot and dried apricots.....sweet flavor up front, this almost seems like a fruit beer, then its wheat.....some zing mid-palate....its good --goes down easy, would be nice with some sunshine!

Clear light golden, minimal white head. Strong apricot fruit nose, light hay. Sweet, slight hint of bitterness. Light body, reasonably carbonated. Fine. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle from Weilands. Yellow gold pour with thin bright white. Aroma of apricot and wheat - as advertised. Tastes are wheat, yeast, sweet artificial apricot. Not a lot else going on - little watery.

Apricot smell and taste but the taste is artificial....buttery taste on the beer...very fake

On tap at Beer Authority New York September 2013. I find with Apricot beers that the apricot is usually hard to detect and this one was no different.

Transfer from BA review on 9-10-12 Served on tap in a pint glass Appearance Served a yellow-golden colored brew with a haze and a thin white head. The head faded fast to leave a light film on the top of the brew. Smell The aroma is super sweet with tons of apricot, peach and even a little bit of sugar candy aroma. Taste The taste of the beer is relatively constant through the whole taste experience. It is a flavor of wheat mixed with strong flavors of apricot and some peach. In the beginning of the taste is on the more sour side, where at the end of the taste it sweetens up a bit. In the end, a light citrus hop comes to the taste as well helping to balance out the semi-sweet apricot and wheat taste that are left on the tongue. Mouthfeel The body of the beer is rather light with a carbonation level that is slightly higher then average. Overall Ah It is an OK beer, but somewhat one dimensional and a bit to sour up front. Not one I would go to with real occasion.
