COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An easy-drinking wheat beer is light in color and body...perfect for the warmer weather. In crafting this fine ale, we add many pounds of real apricot fruit to create a "secondary fermentation." This creates a gentle wheat beer with just a hint of apricot flavor in the finish. A very drinkable, mildly fruity ale.

Transfer from BA review on 9-10-12 Served on tap in a pint glass Appearance – Served a yellow-golden colored brew with a haze and a thin white head. The head faded fast to leave a light film on the top of the brew. Smell – The aroma is super sweet with tons of apricot, peach and even a little bit of sugar candy aroma. Taste – The taste of the beer is relatively constant through the whole taste experience. It is a flavor of wheat mixed with strong flavors of apricot and some peach. In the beginning of the taste is on the more sour side, where at the end of the taste it sweetens up a bit. In the end, a light citrus hop comes to the taste as well helping to balance out the semi-sweet apricot and wheat taste that are left on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is rather light with a carbonation level that is slightly higher then average. Overall – Ah… It is an OK beer, but somewhat one dimensional and a bit to sour up front. Not one I would go to with real occasion.

Draft to taster at Dutch’s. Looks solid; a slightly cloudy lighter gold with white lacing. Smells pleasant; apricots and mild wheat. Tastes like it smells with a solid mouthfeel. Better than I expected, and better than its scores indicate IMO.

Draft: nice hazy slightly orange-yellow with a big white head. Aromas are big fruit smells... Definitely apricot, but more too... Flowery. Taste us very nice... Apricot, if course, and some breadiness... Very surprised that thus is as enjoyable as it is.

On tap at Dutch’s. Mostly hazy yellow golden color. Good thin white head. Leaves decent, kind of loose splotches of lace. Nice big apricot and creme aroma. Some light cheese cake -type fruitiness, maybe a hint of strawberry? Very interesting, tasty fruit aroma. Light to medium body. Smooth, lightly soft, lighter carbonation. Crisp and easy drinking with a lightly dry finish. Moderate sweet taste, light dry finish. Not sugary or syrupy or over sweet or anything. Pretty tasty, refreshing fruit-wheat beer. Much better than expected.

12oz bottle from Wegman’s, Buffalo, NY. Straw coloured with a ring of white head; apricot aroma; and apricot taste, and pleasantly dry with a floury body; and a tart clean finish.

Really fruity aroma. Sweet taste not much wheat coming through in the beer. Light body. Not bad.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel Florentin. Thanks Tom L. Slightly hazy blonde. Big apricot aroma. Sweetish flavor, wheaty, with light graininess, apricot and a slightly bitterish husky finish. Light-bodied, kinda watery.

Fruity apricot sweet aroma. Cloudy yellow color. Flavor is sticky sweet fruity, not unpleasant, if you are looking for a wine cooler made from natural craft ingredients you may enjoy this. Not for me.

Bottle. Nose is heavy, syrupy apricot, I’m surprised by how real and jammy is smells instead of artificial or Jolly Rancher’d. Pours hazy deep golden with above-avg carb and a white head that’s gone in two shakes of a tail feather. Taste is somewhat dry, has a bready finish, very low bitterness. Full, crisp, heavy body. Base ale is a little weak, though the wheat aspect is fine, just want a little malt and perhaps a smidgen more cleanliness. Mild low levels of sweetness and tartness are really appreciated here, and with the pure strain of apricot going, has a chance to really be something special to a lot of people.
