12 oz. bottle from Julio’s Liquors. Thick cap of white head on top an amber liquid. Some lace. Nose is light notes of nutmeg and pumpkin. Flavor is orange gourd, cinnamon, nutmeg and a light touch of vanilla. Caramel malt base. Light in body. Finish is clean and has a lightly creamy texture. Easy enough to drink. Average.

Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 6, 2013
Bottled. Poured medium orange with a short toasted marshmallow head. The aroma picked up sweet pumpkin and vanilla paired with nutmeg and a touch of cinnamon.. quite nice. The flavor found watery pumpkin meat and bready notes at the core with more nutmeg and cinnamon around.. prickly carbonation and some prickly carbonation on the weak finish. Light-bodied with mostly spicage on the palate.. this just needed more substance.

Draft at liberty hound, dirty copper pour. Nutmeg, cinnamon & allspice filled aroma. Similar flavor with a slight off tasting finish. Sweet. Ok

Bottle:   Reddish side of amber, faint haze, small sudsy white head, little lacing.   Spicy nose, cinnamon, nutmeg, lots of allspice.   Similar tongue, just the right amount of spiciness IMO.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Clean finish, lingering spices.   This is a nice straight forward example of the style!

mansquito (6795) - Nueva York, New York, USA - SEP 27, 2012
New Beer Distributors, NY 355ml ($2.25): Pours a weird brownish amber with a head that fizzles away in seconds. Aroma is candied sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and some other dessert flavors. Taste is somewhat sweet, with some bubblegum, like Big Red flavours. Pretty good.

Patrickctenchi (6691) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - SEP 23, 2014
Bottle: Slightly hazy, amber, with a short, beige head. Cola, pumpkin, crust aroma. Taste is flaky pie crust, pumpkin, nutmeg. Rich, sweet, caramel malt. Easygoing, but tasty............ better than expected.

kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 20, 2014
Tap. Pours a clear orangish gold body with a small fizzy white head. Big spice and pumpkin nose with lots of cinnamon and nutmeg, some decent pumpkin meat. The flavor is pretty well balanced, not over spiced, not overly sweet. Nice meaty flavor up front, finishes a bit heavy on the cinnamon though perhaps. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and almost creamy with soft fizzy carbonation. Pretty nice Pumpkin Ale, they didn’t overdo it on the spice.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Half Time, 10/23/12

Aroma: The nose has some nutmeg, pumpkin, clove, allspice, toast, and a little bit of hop
Appearance: It pours a caramel-orange color with a small beige head and light lace
Flavor: The taste is a little bit sweet, has a medium spice component, and a light bitterness
Palate: The body is light-medium, it feels a little bit tingly, and drinks pretty nicely
Overall Impression: Nice job here by I thought that this was a really solid pumpkin/spice beer. It may not be an absolutely top of style example, but it works pretty well.

This one poured a lighter orange colorw ith an off white head. Aroma was of light pumpkin spies, mainly ginger, and light clove. Flavor was ginger clove, cinnamon and light toast. Nothing offensive, but not good.

jgb9348 (6434) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - NOV 5, 2012
Slightly hazy copper coloured body with a light orange glow and a nice, two centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of squash, yeast, bread, allspice, a hint of tea and a small amount of ginger. Medium-bodied; Assertive pumpkin/squash notes up front with a strong earthy/malty note and a hint of toffee and caramel. Aftertaste shows slightly more spices than noticeable up front, but not much coming through - only a tiny bit of squash and allspice - nothing else of note. Overall, a decent pumpkin beer, but I was expecting much more complexity and easily some more depth. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Wegman’s in Malvern, Pennsylvania on 22-September-2012 for US$1.99 sampled at home in Washington on 05-November-2012, on election eve in the USA.
