12 oz bottle from Canal’s Hainesport. Poured a very hazy/muddy orange/amber with a smaller bright white foamy head. Aroma starts off great with lots of spice and pumpkin, very pie like, followed by some hop cones and grainy toast. Fuller bodied with stronger carbonation and a rather quick fading taste yet some carbonation remains on the back of your tongue. Flavor isn’t as bold as the aroma with notes of dry spices, cinnamon and vanilla along with pumpkin and dry toast. Pretty good stuff. jgb9348 (6189) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - NOV 5, 2012
Slightly hazy copper coloured body with a light orange glow and a nice, two centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of squash, yeast, bread, allspice, a hint of tea and a small amount of ginger. Medium-bodied; Assertive pumpkin/squash notes up front with a strong earthy/malty note and a hint of toffee and caramel. Aftertaste shows slightly more spices than noticeable up front, but not much coming through - only a tiny bit of squash and allspice - nothing else of note. Overall, a decent pumpkin beer, but I was expecting much more complexity and easily some more depth. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Wegman’s in Malvern, Pennsylvania on 22-September-2012 for US$1.99 sampled at home in Washington on 05-November-2012, on election eve in the USA. Poured into a becher pint glass, the appearance was a ruddy burnt orange color with a thin layer of white foamy head. Stringy lace.
The aroma starts off with sweet pumpkin flesh rolling into some light allspice, ginger, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Subtle vanilla with a light pie crust hits appropriately.
The flavor brings all of those previously mentioned aromas together sweetly and with a nice subtle spice to balance. Combined sweet to spice aftertaste with a crisp finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Nicely carbonated, this one allows the spice to balance decently.
Overall, nice pumpkin ale that seems to be a nice go-to for the season. I would have again. thornecb (5876) - Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA - SEP 17, 2013
Pours clear orange into a shaker. White head with medium retention recedes to skim surface. Sweet nutmeg, cinnamon and ginger aromas. Thin with pumpkin upfront turning dry in lasting nutmeg finish. ganache (5851) - New Jersey, USA - SEP 28, 2013
Bottle. Nose is sweet malt with mild pumpkin and spice overload - nutmeg, allspice, lesser cinnamon and ginger. Pours a neon and lightly hazy orange with short beige head. Crisp fullish body is relatively dry, some sweetish malt but not a ton of it, relatively thin flavor profile with suppressed hops and thankfully restrained spice additions (which seem to mostly have impacted the nose), though those spices are as clear as day. Pumpkin comes out more with volume and contemplation, smidgen of vanilla, trace of gummy yeast slurry along with pleasant mild clover honey. I learned to appreciate this more by the time I reached the bottom of the glass -- it’s about par for the course as far as these things go, but fresh and even spot-hitting.

Thought I had this before. On tap at the Bocktown monaca, nice place you got there monacatootha! Smells like pumpkin spice. Looks like pale lager. Thin head. Some cinnamon on the taste. Not much punky in there really. Bitter slight medicinal finish. jkwood04 (5448) - Connecticut, USA - OCT 13, 2012
12oz bottle in a plastic cup. Pours copper with a cream-colored head. Aroma of pumpkin, spices, a good amount of caramel malts, and some floral hops. Flavor the same. Average texture. A pretty good pumpkin beer. chinchill (4928) - South Carolina, USA - MAR 11, 2015
12 oz bottle wth a BB Nov. 2014(?) date notch; so just purchased but perhaps a little past BB window.
Pours lightly hazy, orange-amber in color, with a decent semi-durable head that leaves some spotty lacing.
Aroma: suggest a nice mix of spices and light+medium malts.
Flavor: more spices here; a bit more than ideal in that the malts are mostly masked and the aftertaste emphasizes the spices.
Feel: medium-light body and medium carbonation.

(bottle - 12 oz) Cloudy orange pour with a white head. Aroma is a very lightly spiced almost pumpkin bread smell. Good amount of pumpkin and not overpowered by the cinnamon. Bitter spice and pumpkin at the start. More like a pumpkin pie with a good amount of ginger and clover. Bitter and lightly sweet pumpkin finish. Ron (3919) - Rochester, New York, USA - JAN 26, 2013
Bottle. Poured an amber color with a creamy white head that left quickly. Aroma of cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, with hint of pumpkin. Good pumpkin flavor with cinnamon and nutmeg, but not overwhelming spices. Good beer!
