"a bit pricey for a beer that was solid in every way, but didn’t blow me away. pungent oily hops greet the nose and make there presence known on the palate as well. big bodied and fairly aggressive. tiny bit of that soap character, and a touch of honey. good, but not for the $ travita (5006) - Dallas, Texas, USA - NOV 18, 2013
Bottle thanks to somebody, rating from my backlog. The smell is hops, fruits, bitterness. The look is cloudy, white white head. The taste is fruits, hops, pine, and citrus. merc7186 (3142) - North Tonawanda, New York, USA - OCT 6, 2013
The beer pours great with a nice hazy straw color, a nice foamy white head, and some lacing on the glass. The beer has a great floral hoppiness with a mild sweetness on the back end. The taste is great with a solid floral, citrus hoppiness with a honey follow up flavor that blended well together. The mouthfeel was decent with great carbonation and a bitter aftertaste. Overall, a decent hoppy ale with a nice honey flavor to it. Brewbie (479) - New York, USA - SEP 30, 2013
Bottle. pours a bright amber color, full thick white head. grassy hop aroma with a bit of light honey. Honey really comes through in the taste nicely offset by the bitterness of the hops. Dry hop finish with a little lingering sweetness. jkwalking05 (4743) - Arlington, Texas, USA - JUL 9, 2013

At Han Dynasty with Ray and Jay. Pours a cloudy orange-gold with thick off-white head and good lacing. Sweet honey malts dominate this. Some mild grassy hops (probably not fresh) but as much as I was expecting. Drake (14045) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 20, 2012

"Donkey Dork Lord" pre-gbbf shindig 2011. Golden colour, small slightly off-white head, that leaves slight lace. Aroma is fruity, floral, mild tropical fruity and herbal notes along with sweet malts and some caramel. Flavour is sweet malts, caramel, some zest, fruits, mild honey, tropical fruit juice and quite bitter floral and grassy notes as well. Though I’m not that fond of IPA and DIPA, this was very nicely balanced! In fact I even had a bit more of it!
Bottle picked up while visiting upstate NY. The pour is an orange-gold color with a thin white head. Lots of caramel and toffee invade the senses; sweet florals too as well as resinous hops. This certainly smells like it’s going to be very sweet. And it is, although tolerable. There’s a fairly thick malty body here that shows a lot of sweet toffee. Some citrus and resinous hops counter that some. There’s a slick sweetness throughout, perhaps from the honey. It tries to dry out in the finish but remains fairly sticky. Eh, wasn’t into this one. The bottle doesn’t have a date but does have a batch number. I’ll check that. I have to think maybe this is well past it’s prime, although recent ratings are positive.
