[ Raise The Roof Tasting ]. Clear dark black brown color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige to light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, strong coffee, dusty coffee, ash. Flavor is heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, coffee. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100731]

[email protected] pre-GBBF "Rock the roof down" tasting. Quite much pitch black colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is sweet malts, some roasted notes, quite much coffee, alcohol as well as some chocolate. Flavour is being quite much the same. Coffeeish and roasted malts in aftertaste.

Bottle at first DC tasting of 2010. Dark maroon with no head and no lacing. Overpowering coffee, chocolate and alcohol aroma. Flavor is bitter cocoa and burnt espresso, with strong alcohol in the finish. Medium body. Could be toned down a bit.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of RCL. Pours a dark reddish brown with a tiny, tiny beige head. Heavy coffee aroma - pretty much nothing else. Medium body, sweet dark roast and again heavy coffee and vanilla. No real bitterness. Easy going. 290311
