COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Luminous is a golden wild ale brewed with wheat and aged NYS hops. Fermented for over a year, this ale is a delightful meditation on uninhibited life; a celebration of esoteric flavors. Enjoy the simple, yet intriguing pineapple, cherry, mango, and hay aroma complemented by a bucolic funk. All cushioned by a dazzling effervescence and a light tartness, a truly wild ale reminiscent of the pastoral landscapes surrounding the Finger Lakes.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy yellow with medium white head that lasts. The aroma is funk, lemon, pineapple, mango, oak. Thin body, tropical fruit, oak, nice tartness, light funk, very nice.

Silent entrance. Large fizzy off white head that collapses in seconds though tiny bubbles steadily rise afterwards. Hazy gold appearance. Nose of cider and slight citrus, light vinegar. Body is med/light, fairly effervescent, tad pastey. Light wood, apple and stone fruit flavors, fairly dry. nice dry finish but a bit coating in the finish. Props to UDBeernut for donating to the cause. Thanks Art!

UPDATED: NOV 12, 2017 Bottle... Pours hazy and golden with a creamy, brief, white head. The aroma is dusty and funky - there's some woodiness here. Light to medium-bodied with fizzy carbonation. The flavor is lightly tangy and there’s just not much else going on here. At least this is crisp, clean and refreshing. Bottle courtesy of biggsbowler!

750 mL bottle. Orange body. Lots of carbonation. Smell is a touch oxidized. Tropical fruits. Wine. Taste is oaky. Sour. White wine. A little sweet. High carbonation. Straightforward sour. Heavily oaked. Classic golden sour style. At first I wasn’t thrilled, but it’s a very pleasant sour. Nothing that will knock your socks off.

Shared at a tasting hosted by Steebo on February 13. 750 mL bottle. The pour is a hazy golden yellow with a lot of carbonation wrapped into the off white head. The aroma is really lemony with a hay funk that is seemingly a bit sweet over the sharp tart or sourness. The flavor is incredibly fruity. There is lemon, some strawberry, and maybe a little apple mixed in here, but it’s definitely sweet overpowering the sour. The mouth feel is a light and quick fading. This is effervescent to say the least. I thought it might’ve been good-tasting champagne there for a hot second

Hazed yellow/orange pour, white head. Certainly some funky, cheesy, manure flavors. A lot of tropical fruits as well. Nice brew.
