Bottle thanks to big-D. A strange beer, quite different. Pours a bright orange color with a medium white head. The aroma is sweet zesty fresh hops. The flavor is dominated by sweet citrus and lemons, some light bitterness, very smooth despite a high ABV, a dry palate. Reminds me a bit of a grainy highly hopped pale ale. Nice. Bottle at GABF. Pours an attractive gold with a fluffy white head. THe nose is phenomenal, big citrus and tropical fruits that burst from the glass. Plenty of big hop aromatics and then a big blast of white bread comes through. On tasting, has a really similar and big hoppiness but there is a hit of onion as well from the hops. Not too distracting, but it’s there. Big malt backbone. Really tasty beer, for sure. JB84 (652) - Kitchener, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 25, 2011
Pour hazy golden orange huge off white head. Aroma citrus, pine, lemon zest, pepper, tangerine, you definitely get the citra and sorachi. Taste citrus, pine, pepper, lemon peel, tangerine, wheat, orange. MF medium body with fine good carb. Wow a show stopper in surprise this is an outstanding brew with huge bold flavor and a remarkable nose a A+ indeed. dnstone (3681) - Kansas City, Missouri, USA - OCT 9, 2011

Bottle: Poured a orange copper with white head. Aroma is citrus and hops. Taste was steep in citrus fruit, hops, and had a grainy wheat and oat edge to it. jtclockwork (17634) - , New Jersey, USA - SEP 16, 2011

UPDATED: SEP 15, 2011 Sweet light malt aroma. Hazy golden color with small white head. Sweet malt and yeast flavor that fades slightly in the finish. Tmoney99 (15119) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - SEP 14, 2011
Bottle. Poured clear copper color with a large frothy brown head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy complex citrus hop aroma. Medium to full body with a slick texture with soft carbonation. Medium to heavy citrus bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish and small alcohol burn of moderate to long duration. This is a solid complex brew.
