Golden pour, Aroma is lightly acetic, funky, some light white grape presence, sweet tart, barrel. Puckering tartness in the mouth, with more white grape, some light wet wood, but over a zesty, ripe, refreshing mouthful. Yum j12601 (10966) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - NOV 7, 2010
Pouring at Night of the Funk on the Friday night of Belgian Beer Fest in Boston, labeled not as La Joie like the beer lists suggested, but as “To be named soon”. Pours a hazed gold with a medium sized white head. Fruit and berries, light funki, acid, and brett. Smooth, sweet fruit and funk with a nice tang. Nice brett and funk, big sweet and sour tang on the finish. oteyj (2139) - New Hampshire, USA - NOV 6, 2010
Hazy golden pour at NotF. Bracing sourness and huge funk lead to juicy fruit and mild bubblegum notes. Excellent balance and vibrant funk- excellent offering.
