COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The rich mahogany hue of the Nut Brown is the first thing you will notice about this complex, malty brew. A delicate blend of chocolate malt, caramel malt, and four other malts brings to this beer a chocolatey sweetness, and hints of coffee. The malt character is subtly balanced with Northdown and Fuggles hops.

This beer has a deep reddish color and poured out of the bottle with a nice head on it. The taste was initially a clean sweetness followed by a strong roasty finish. I'm not usually a nut brown fan, but I enjoyed this beer very much.

A good Nut Brown, but clearly not Newcastle. It has a deep flavor to it that is tough to find.

Deep murky chestnut brown. Thin head. Unfiltered. Aroma of steady chocolate malts and dry nuts. Nice mellow body with a solid chocolate malt base and some nuts. Dry with a slightly sour and metallic taste, from the water or yeast maybe? Decent brown.

Chestnut hue; good nutty aromas; decent depth of nutty flavours.............
