growler pour from Dominion Wine & Beer, snifter. nose is weak pine and a little lemony. color is opaque yellow and very boring. taste brings forward a decent amount of ripe pine and citrus. not bad, but left with a bit of booze in my sinuses. Undated bottle from the Box O Hops 12 pack, drunk 11/18/16.drfabulous (8488) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - NOV 13, 2016
Lightly hazy, copper-orange-golden body topped by a moderately well-retained, off-white head.
Strong tangerine juice, with orange rind, pineapple and alcohol in the nose signify another rather messy IPA from Ithaca, with not enough (no) maltiness behind it. None of the soft honey or wheat of a good NE IPA. Little to no juiciness and just a lot of coarse grain, alcohol and citrus.
Very strong, bitter, boozy body with resin on the end and again, not a malty texture. Grainy, husky and overly dry with light caramel and bread mixing with the tangerine and nectarine. Pineapple, pine, booze and spice linger on the finish.
Draught at City Tap House. Hoppy hop water with citrus and bitterness and pine. Nice. Bulk_Carrier (6065) - Vermont, USA - NOV 6, 2016
Poured into a tulip, the appearance was a hazy burnt yellow to almost orange color with a sly transparency running about it. Carbonation could be seen rising at a decent pace. A finger’s worth of head graces the top nicely and dissipates at a nice even pace. Sticky messy lace clings adequately.
The aroma starts off with a crisp sweet citrus rind and balances exceptionally well with some danky sweet onion and then sly sweet and bitter pine.
The flavor copies the aroma very nicely in pulling together the bitter and the sweet and runs into a semi-sweet citrusy aftertaste with a sticky finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Low to medium carbonation leads a refined juicy bitter semi-soft feel rolling over my tongue.
Overall, a very nicely done DIPA by Ithaca and in fact, probably my favorite one to date by this brewery. Of course, I would have this again. DocLock (10973) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 30, 2016
Bottle from Whole Foods. Pours turbid and bright orange with fluffy, 2-finger off-white head. Nose is resiny, piney, floral hops. Tastes resiny, piney, with notes of grapefruit, overripe peach, and a juicy finish with some sweetness and some bitterness.

Bottle from meditrina. Hazy golden orange with lasting loose head and lace. Citrus pine pineapple grassy aroma. Mango orange creamsicle sweetness with fruity citrus and spice and bready finish. Medium body, fairly soft carbo. Rustic but delicious, like a great homebrew. jsporrer (1086) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 22, 2016
Pours a hazy straw yellow with a large foamy white head. Strong funky citrus aroma. Lightly syrupy body. Very bitter and somewhat harsh. Not very refreshing or enjoyable. Not a fan. radio_nowhere (1472) - Maryland, USA - OCT 12, 2016
Bottle into tulip glass, cloudy amber-hued golden color with off-white head. Aroma notes of sharp pine/citrus hops, floral, fruity with light doughy malt sweetness. Taste adds more tropical fruitiness (mango, papaya, pineapple), citrus zest, grapefruit, grassy bitterness, light earthy/herbalness and sugare-like sweetness. Medium-heavy body, low-moderate carbonation, soft, almost creamy, dry with lingering tropical/dank fruity bitter finish. Very solid tropical fruity DIPA. williamherbert (1546) - Syracuse, New York, USA - FEB 10, 2016
Pineapple yellow color; juicy complexion. Plenty of microscopic floaties.
Aroma is sharp, pungent pines. Touch of citrus; lemon? Just a touch of bubblegum.
Flavor is a combination of sugary bubblegum/marshmallow; blood orange and tangerine citrus; spearmint; and pine.
The feel is slick and juicy. It’s just a tad imbalanced but very pleasant. LilBeerDoctor (4147) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 13, 2015
Bottle. Pours a cloudy pale golden yellow with a white head. Aroma of citrus, floral hops, grapefruit, grassy hops. Flavor of bitter hop oils, citrus, bitter grapefruit, lemon zest, some sweet malt. Very hoppy, plenty of citrus. The alcohol is not overwhelming and this is a fairly light IIPA (a good thing in my book).
