Bottle, best by 9/2008. Pours a straw yellow with a small foamy white head. Aroma of stale wheat and hay. Flavor is similar, along with a sharp light fruitiness. Not very exciting. Too stale for me. Guinness4Duff (515) - Tallahassee (and Poconos, PA), Florida, USA - AUG 15, 2008
Bottle. Light golden pour with a frothy white head. Faint aroma of spicy hops and not much else. Strong citrus presence in the flavor, has a powerful grapefruit taste that overpowers from start to finish, Not bad though. puzzl (3264) - New York, New York, USA - AUG 9, 2008
Bottled. Pale yellow pour, cloudy. Very malty for a pils, with a nice biscuity flavor going on, and the right hops. A bit too sweet and full bodied for the style but still a good drinking beer. HighlanderOne (1396) - York, SC via NJ, South Carolina, USA - AUG 8, 2008
Poured from bottle (8/2008). Love the sweet hoppy aroma. Darker than most Pilseners, thin persistent head. Hop and malt blend not unlike a good pale ale. Lager/Pils notes kick in the aftertaste. Really takes on pils character about midway through. Great finish. One of the better pils I’ve tried. Dickinsonbeer (5073) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - AUG 7, 2008
12 oz bottle. Pours a slightly darker color than expected for a pils- more of a medium to light copper- or a very deep gold. Nice lasting white head. Aroma is toasty malts, light pils, ltos of sweet cara pils and a nice earthy doughy mt hood-like hop character and some continental hops as well. Flavor is also a bit on the sweeter side for a pilsner, ligth doughy malts and some cara pils sweetness, good earthy herbal hops- noble and fresh- also a wierd spicy earhty hop finish which reminds me of eating a vlassic bread and butter pickle. Interesting beer. I kinda like it.

Bottle. Pours hazy gold, white head. Aroma is burnt meat, malt, hops.
Flavor is hoppy, malty, some peat, but there is also a bizarre smoky/bitterness that makes this drinkable. DocLock (11190) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 22, 2008
Pours pale gold with splotchy 2-finger white head. Nose is dry florals, citrus, pale malt, Saazy hops. Tastes citric, hoppy, with pale malt, mild floral, peppery, and orange marmalady hints along the way. Nice. wcampbell (721) - Clemson, South Carolina, USA - JUL 21, 2008
UPDATED: JUL 28, 2008 I thought this was pretty good, especially for a pilsener. Light bodied, crisp, and highly drinkable but not watery. Nothing not to like about it. Grassy hop flavor typical of pilseners, but a little bit more taste than most. Faint aroma. estoppel (1028) - Buffalo, New York, USA - JUL 17, 2008
Bottle. Golden body, big white head with ample lacing, a bit of a foamer coming out of the bottle. Weak nose with light fruit. Crisp body with a dry caramel note that doesn’t fit the style, not terribly hoppy in aroma/flavor (i.e., finishing hops) but with bitter start and finish. A nice slightly higher than average pilsener. Aroma was nice. Bready with a distinct citrus hoppiness. Pour was a nice light hazy gold with a 2 finger white head. Taste was pilsner malt, bread and yeast with a mouth drying bitter hop bite in the aftertaste. Good carbonation which makes this beer very refreshing. Nice
