Bottle from Belmont Party.
Poured clear amber color with a large white fizzy head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate hop aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and lively carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration.
Good drinkable brew.

12oz bottle thanks to Tom! Bottle notched best before S. Poured a lighter and clear golden color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas of grains, lightly grassy and some citrus (orange rinds). Tastes of grass and grains. Thinner. jcwattsrugger (12420) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - DEC 10, 2009
12oz bottle -pours a rich white head and hazy yellow/gold color. Aroma is light malt-bready, some fruit. Taste is biting herbal hops, light malt-bready, some fruit. None of the expected continental hops on the nose or taste. Easy drinking. DocLock (10683) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 22, 2008
Pours pale gold with splotchy 2-finger white head. Nose is dry florals, citrus, pale malt, Saazy hops. Tastes citric, hoppy, with pale malt, mild floral, peppery, and orange marmalady hints along the way. Nice. JoeMcPhee (9426) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 20, 2009
Tap at Barcade. Pale straw-coloured pour. The aroma is pretty nice. Bright zesty hops and a touch of soft floral character. A touch of lemon and a soft minerally hoppiness on the back. Softly sweet as well with a nice balance of crackery malts. Lovely lingering bitterness with a soft spicy herbal hoppiness. It’s really pretty nice. One of the better pilsners I’ve had in awhile.

I suspect that this one was a touch light struck. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright golden color with a large white head. The aroma was strong spicy and floral hosp with a touch of skunk underneath. The flavor was crisp bitter floral hops with a sour, tangy and almost skunky malt base. The finish was bitter and sour. Disappointing. swoopjones (7020) - Buffalo, New York, USA - APR 27, 2010
bottle. Lemon saaz aroma. Notes of pot porri. Witte like looking pour. pale yellow. Floal hop flavor with large Saaz presence. OK egajdzis (6580) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 2, 2009
Poured a golden color with a medium sized, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of toasted malts, citrus fruits, grass, toffee, and light floral notes. Taste of citrus fruits, toasted malts, sweeter toffee, and a medium bitter, hop finish. Glouglouburp (6103) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 3, 2008
In short: A bland entry level pilsner with no charactercheap (5858) - Beaver Valley, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 12, 2008
How: Bottle 12oz, consumed very fresh, purchased directly at the brewery and drank the same day.
The look: Clear golden body topped by a small white head
In long: Basic flavourless cereals, a little on the oily side. A little watery honey. A touch of floral hops and a light citrus presence. Total lack of character. I cannot blame it on a tired old bottle since I purchase it directly at the brewery. Ithaca make some solid beers but this is basically a “blonde” beer for the mass market. I wish Ithaca good luck with this beer, and after drinking it I can tell you they’ll need it.
The label on this bottle says; Ithaca Pils Golden Lager, so I guess this is the right place to put my rating. Some mild citrus aroma. Ubiquitous pale yellow american lager appearance, with just a slight haze. Sharp bitter big pilsner hop bite. Very good carbonation. Lingering medicinal coating palate. I am rather surprised by the amount of bitterness this has in it, I would say it borders on IPA territory. Long lingering bitter graperfruit rind finish. This has many ale attributes and if I didn’t know better, I would never think of this as a lager.
