Nondescript dusty aroma. Pale orange, some head. Sweet malts in the aroma too. Some beer in the taste - it’s even got some fruity esters and a hint of roast malts in the retronasals. Taste pretty plain, but recognisably made of beer ingredients. Finish a bit papery. Best of the pale ones in the 7-glass sampler, but still not good.
On draught at Zeughauskeller. This brew pours a clear orange-amber color with a medium foamy white head that recedes slowly. Sticky small patches of lacing on the glass. Caramel malt aroma with some yeasty notes in the background. Light body with flavors of bready malt, fruit, grassy hops and a bit of yeast. The finish is fruity and sweet. Fairly average overall. from Coop - clear and bright amber beer with a little chaotic foam left; shy aroma of caramel and flowers; medium-bodied and slightly astringent; some harsh bitterness; hints of red fruits and flowery hops in a short finish - meaningless jcwattsrugger (12559) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - MAY 29, 2015
