Cask at GBBF, 5%. Dark brown, red hue, still, a little murky, no real head. Aroma is coffee, chocolate sweets, a little twiggy. Body is medium, smooth, low carbonation. GBBF Day 1. Cask. Hazy deep amber - brown beer, no head. Smooth palate, modest fine carbonation. Tangy chocolate streaked malts. Mild smoke and ripe fruits. Light finish brings a trace of vanilla. Not bad.
Cask at GBBF 2015, day 1 - London. Pours clear brown with a bubbly head. Toasty bread in the nose, some toffee. Medium sweet flavor with mellow cocoa, subtle roast, earth.
