Saison brewed with honey, coriander and lemon verbena. Fermented with a mixed culture of classic saison strains, wild yeast, and bacteria. Post fermentation, the beer was conditioned in stainless steel for 6 weeks with its primary mixed culture. A third and final fermentation completed this beer in the bottle. Pockets of Sunlight is a radiant saison full of crisp energy.

375ml bottle shared by Joey. Poures a slightly thinner bodied chill hazed brighter gold under a foamy white head. Aroma/flavor is floral, funky, yeassty, corriander, white pepper, lemon zest, dough, plus some bubble gum in the aroma and citrus in the flavor. Fuller mouthfeel strong carbonation.

Braudog (6944) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - FEB 3, 2018
Bottle. Poured with a short-lasting fizzle. The beer is golden orange and emits a pretty distinct fruity nose. This drinks with the promised notes of farmhousey herbs and sweet-tart lemon. Very light-bodied. (#6930, 2/2018)

330ml bottle. Hazy yellow color. Brief white fizzy head. Yeasty, sweet, honey, herbal, funky in aroma. Sour, coriander, yeast, farmhouse in taste. Very fizzy palate. Sour, herbal, yeast and farmhouse in aftertaste. Carbonation makes it almost undrinkable. Fizzy sour brew.

Bottle (from Koht, doesn't gush, not sure what Phil & co did with their bottle...). Pours bright misty yellow with whiteish head. Aroma is very saison-y, yeasty, fruity, apricots, esthers, citrus. Flavor is sour, yeasty, fruits, lemon, some apricots, coriander. Body is watery. Finish is sour and watery. Overall: ok, more sour ale than saison for me.

Bottle shared by alexsdad06 pour light lemon yellow with large white head. Nose lots of funk, tart, lemon, citrus, some green. Taste light tart up front, lemon pie filling, some saison flavors, then sweet honey. The sweetness certainly take the edge off the tartness.

CloakedDagger (3004) - - OCT 26, 2017
Bottle 37,5 cl. Pours an almost clear paleish yellow with a dissipating white head. Tart, Bretty and fruity nose. Light body, tart, sulphurous and minerally, super dry - almost astringent. 261017

500ml bottle (Koht, Tallinn) (4:1:4:2:8=1.9)
Gusher - as expected (thanks, Lars!). Part of the pour - do I mean pour? I mean the emergency liquid-gathering as the bottle spooged all over the counter - was possibly misty, but 80% was cloudy. Apple cider aroma. Ahhh, someone needs to read Palmer. Tastes of "wild yeast and bacteria", or, as we condense to one word, "infection". Yeasty sour tang above an otherwise simple sour apple maltiness. Cloudier glass was mellower but still poor. Vinegar hint, just to put sprinkles on the turd. Complete mess, and an insult to the word "saison". Do they think "saison" means "out of control"? For sanity, pour the yeast in; for safety, don't even open the bottle. Fucking amateurs. Pockets of sunlight? Fuckit's of bumshite, more like.

Juks (1294) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - OCT 15, 2017
Bottle, thanks FatPhil. Gusher. Top-pour clear golden, bottom-pour hazy bright yellow, small fizzy white head. Aroma is fruity, citrussy, apples, woody. Taste is sour, apple cidery, lemony. Bottom-pour is kinda creamy and soft. Wateriness in finish. Nothing special, just another sour. You have to imagine, if you want to see saison here, but still, taste is not bad.

Rask0lnikov (1609) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - OCT 14, 2017
Bottle. Beer jumped out from the bottle. Pours golden yellow colour. Moderate white head. Beautiful, earthy aroma: barnyard, funk, lemon peel, leather, sourness, slight acidity, woody aspects. Dry, crisp, citrussy beginning. White wine or champage in the middle. Slightly bitter, woody, earthy and crisp finish. Notes of white wine in the aftertaste. Light bodied, crisp and nicely carbonated farmhouse with thick bubbles. Really surprising finding. Very good.
