Bottle shared by alexsdad06 pour opaque dark brown with thin tan head. Nose some tart up front, some green fruit, light powder. Taste big tart and sour, some indistinct fruit, green apple and I guess green plum. A little too much sour for me. Some chocolate in aftertaste.

Bottle thanks to Gibson. Pours a dark brown with small off white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is funk, oak, leather. Thin mouth, leather, sour fruit, funky, nice tartness, very good.

Bottle thanks to alexsdad06 ! Pours a rusty umber color with a finger of khaki foam. Lots of layers of tart vinous fruit, some grape jelly sweetness and a deep roasted malt, earthy compost, leather, black tea, wet oak. Palate moves from tart to sweet to dry earthy with lingering vinous funk.

Thanks to JaBier for sharing bottle #144/204 during Beer Savant’s 50th birthday bash. This beer pours a brownish-copper color with a medium thick bubbly beige head that evaporates eventually to some large bubbles around the edges. Spotty lacing on the glass. Vinous aroma with notes of oak and malt. Light to medium body with flavors of tart fruit, oak and earthy malt. The finish is slightly sour with a woody tart plum aftertaste. Good beer overall.

22 oz. bottle via trade with Puddintane- thanks again, Dave! 2011 release, bottle 80/204. Pours a murky brown color with a beige head. Lots of fruits in here, with caramel and sweet malts, oaky funk, and a sour mash character throughout. Medium-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a fruity, funky mouthfeel.
