22oz bottle, tasted at a bottle share. 2009 bottle. Thanks Josh, I’m pretty sure. This one is drinking pretty vinous and dark fruity, a bit mild but noticeable sour. Dark brown color. Minimal khaki head, some loose bits of lace. Mild to moderate sour taste, moderate bitter, more dry taste. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, kind of soft, lighter carbonation, more dry finish. Fun to try, but this one’s mostly oxidizied and a bit sour right now.

2009 Bottle 15 of 156. Pours black with tan head. Nose/taste of bourbon, sweet chocolate, vanilla, oak and dark cherries. Finishes smooth with mostly sweet chocolate. I was told these bottles might be infected, but I didn’t notice anything amiss. Medium body.

Very dark brown beer - clear - just! Light tan head. Light palate, dry. Sourish dark malt. A little bourbon and dry wood. Basically a sourish porter with light barrelling and chocolate. A tad dry and slightly disappointing, Bottle 23/156.

Bottle 138/156--2009. dark brown color/ fleeting tan head. Spicy barrel aged merlot aromas with chocolate, mild roast. Medium bodied with soft co2. Spicy, dry, tart red wine flavors with some chocolate sweetness meshing nicely--good.

Bottled. A red-brown beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes of smoke, malt, caramel, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet withy notes of malt, fruit, and alcohol, leading to a dry finish.
