Draft @ Jackie Os in 2011. Pours amber with a medium sized white head. The aroma is citrus and grassy hops, yeast, and some bubble gum notes. The flavor is moderately sweet, Begian yeast, citrus, grass and a touch of bubble gum. DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAY 10, 2011
Medium white head, yellow brown color. Palate is very crisp, not much to the aroma though. Very drinkable for a jackie-o’s IPA, would recommend. cpetrone84 (1810) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 9, 2011
A-slightly hazed golden amber color with an off white head.
S-the nose offers a hint of honey, spicy belgianyeast, citrus hops and hints of bubblegum.
T-not full flavored, spciy yeast, very clovelike flavors, disoriented citrus hop and rough assertive bitterness.
M-sloppy feel, light body, very dry and low carbonation.
D-not good, light in flavor and watered down with strong seltzer aspects. ucusty (2691) - raleigh, North Carolina, USA - MAY 5, 2011
Hazy orange pour with a white head and spotty lace. Aroma is yeasty and citrus hops. Nice malt crispness. Light hops(orangey), white peppercorn, candy sugar and spice. Slightly dry finish. Good example of a style that really isn’t my thing. Thorpe429 (5035) - , Illinois, USA - APR 24, 2011
On tap at the brewpub.
Pours with an moderately-colored orange body with a bit of haze. Really nice white head and good retention. lacing as it falls. The nose brings a bit of Belgian yeast plus some very light hopping. Balance between the two but nothing really pushing forward. The flavor takes things up a notch with some really nice floral and citrus hoppy notes, the former of which combines nicely with the earthy Belgian yeast. Mouthfeel is nice and smooth with a slightly-bitter finish. A very nice take on the style.

Sample at One Funky Afternoon at Jackie O’s on 04/02/2011: The beer pours a clear dark golden-orange color with a medium ivory white head that dissipates steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, yeast and hops. Medium body with a nice balance of sweet yeast, malt and hops. The finish is fruity with a lingering mildly bitter aftertaste. Above average all around. Sampled during One Funky Afternoon on 4/2/11. Clear orange/amber pour with a thin white head. Aroma of Belgian esters and grassy hops with a bit of citrus. Belgian yeast flavor of banana with grassy hops and a peppery finish. Beerman6686 (6607) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 4, 2011
This poured a golden color with a white head. Aroma was light belgian character including candy sugar and spice, with light citrus hops too. Flavor was lacking in hops, mainly tasted like a belgian blonde with a bit more hops. Somewhat boring. JStax (6506) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - APR 3, 2011
On tap into a sampler glass. Appearance is a hazy gold with a medium sized white head. Aroma is hoppy and estery. Taste is filled with hops and esters like cloves, bananas, and orange peel, and bread. Love this beer. Finish is hoppy, yet bready. So much character to this beer.
