Sampled at RBSG. From notes. Caramel and toffee with a good dose of roasty malt and bourbon soaked oak. A little vanilla in there too. Very good. I was not expecting it to taste like this at all.

Bottle at RBSG, thanks to DalzAle. Pour is dark brown, some caramel and dark fruits on the nose. Lots of brown sugar, toffee and malts with a bit of alcoholy bourbon. Really a cool beer, wish I could try this as my first beer of the night sometime.

Bottle at RBSG. Pours murky brown copper with a faint head that gave way to tiny bubbles. Aroma had good roasted malt sweet caramel toffee and faint wood and booze. Taste again good caramel malt some toffee and faint bakers chocolate and finished woody and warm. Palate is full slick with a chalky dry finish.

Bottle thanks to StFun! Dark brown pour, little bit of frothy carbonation and an aroma of peanut butter?! Flavor was good meld of brown sugar, a good malt base, toffee and a little bourbon on the finish.

Pour at RBSG - thanks Greg! Bonus points for awesome label art and obscure rap music reference. Bitterness really dominated the taste, not really what I look for in a barrel aged barley wine.

Bomber - thanks Greg! Rich amber orange pour with a smaller head. Boozy hot. Caramel sweetness. A little hop bite. Nice.

Thanks to errl for sharing this bottle. Brown pour with a tan head. The aroma is full of pine hops, bourbon, brown sugar and some tea. The flavor is a bit different. I get a lot of roasted malt and chocolate notes, as well as some oak, bourbon, pine and alcohol. Medium to thick mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
