Draft at Jackie O-s. Pours a dark mahogany color with a fine creamy beige film. The aroma is heavy on the bourbon side with sweet caramel, black cherry, oak with a slight spicy note. The flavor has sweet caramel and toffee, bourbon, vanilla, light cherry notes and oak. Medium plus bodied and was very enjoyable as a sipper. This worked well with the more subdued atmosphere void of the bottle sharing craziness that used to go on.

[ As Jackie-Os Half Sharkalligator 1/2 Man Bourbon Barrel ].
Unclear matt medium brown color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, carmael, laber larver, bourbon, moderate yeasty, alcohol, light wood. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, laber larver, bourbon, vanilla, caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is light alcoholic. 
Bottle shared at the RBESG 2014, grand tasting 09/08/2014. Big thanks to Leighton for this one. Mahogany bown coloured pour with a loose cream head. Aroma is earthy roast, coffee bean, nuty malts and some chilli pepper. Flavour is sweet nutty caramel malts, liquorice, nutty malts. Palate is full bodied, spicy and fairly sweet. "I believe this is a barreled blend of stout and barleywine. Lots going on, both from the beers (chooclate, roast, caramel, toffee, a hint of hop bitterness) and the barrels (slight booze, vanilla, oak, bourbon). Pretty nice smooth beer overall."

Murky chestnut brown with a moderate beige covering that dissipates to edgework.
Nose is caramel fudge, spice, bourbon notes, treacle toffee, light booze.
Taste comprises dark fruit rinds, spice, creme brulee, earthy vibes, candied orange peel.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, lightly warming alcohol in the close.

Bottle. Unclear brown with a small tan head. Brown sugar, caramel, vanilla, alcohol, dark fruits. Medium body, oily texture, soft/medium carbonation, medium sweet and bitter. Sticky and alcoholic finish.
