Draft at Jackie O-s. Pours a dark mahogany color with a fine creamy beige film. The aroma is heavy on the bourbon side with sweet caramel, black cherry, oak with a slight spicy note. The flavor has sweet caramel and toffee, bourbon, vanilla, light cherry notes and oak. Medium plus bodied and was very enjoyable as a sipper. This worked well with the more subdued atmosphere void of the bottle sharing craziness that used to go on.
Red brown colour, white head. Aroma of bourbon, raisins, cacao, roasted malts. Malty flavour, vanilla, dried fruits, bourbon, cacao. Full body. Finish wood, bourbon, vanilla.Aniela (4215) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUN 9, 2015

"I believe this is a barreled blend of stout and barleywine. Lots going on, both from the beers (chooclate, roast, caramel, toffee, a hint of hop bitterness) and the barrels (slight booze, vanilla, oak, bourbon). Pretty nice smooth beer overall."
