Thought I was pouring a stout at first! Thick caramel pour with medium viscous tan head. Amazing fruit and bourbon nose. Dried fruit combo of grapes/pears/figs/dates for the flavor followed by a brown sugar tart cherry pie finish. O jackie Ooooo . . .

The flavor is like a bourbon candy dessert in a glass. Bold brown sugar notes. Fuller body, average texture, average carbonation, nice slick mouthfeel. Amazing

37.5CL bottle. Split 2 ways. It looks like dark brown prune juice. 1 finger head. not sure how old the bottle is but it smells fantastic. toffee, caramel and vanilla. Even a bit of rum and caramel. Dense and thick, Insanely great raisin and a huge brown sugar flavor. I love the bourbon flavors. It's almost like a salted caramel ice cream with a bit of buffalo trace. Tasty!

Barwa ciemno brązowa, mętna. Aromat przyjemny, aczkolwiek bardziej pod Brown Ale - głównie toffi, karmel, brązowy cukier Muscovado, do tego suszone daktyle, rodzynki i wanilia, w tle czekolada i bourbon. W smaku dość słodkie, palony, ciemny cukier na pierwszym planie, melasa, suszone owoce, kakao, kawa, wanilia, whisky... W kontrze średnia do niskiej, palono tytoniowa goryczka, wyraźne alkoholowe rozgrzewanie i lekka szorstkość. W odbiorze pełne, wyklejające, nisko wysycone, średnio gęste.
Dość specyficzny Quadrupel, bez wątpienia nie jest to belgijska szkoła, bliżej mu do American Strong Ale z beczki niż do quada - skojarzenia z Deliverance z Lost Abbey.

Bottle 101/168, Batch 8/15 A special thanks to Schibli for sharing this bottle of elixir. Pours very dark brown/black/purple with espresso colored, thin but creamy head. Lacing sticks on sides of glass and paints the sides dark brown. Aroma is heavy bourbon with oak, vanilla, and fruit cobblers. Taste is initially bourbon, fruit cake, a touch of sea salt, dark chocolate. Amazing depth of flavors, many layers here. Finish is ultra smooth, strong bourbon burn, but creamy and drinkable.
