4 oz draft pour at Jackie O’s Public House. Amber with off-white head. Aromas of raspberries, light oak. Tastes of bourbon, big booze, raspberries. Medium body with a dry and warm finish. Low carbonation. A bit too boozy. JaBier (8396) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - JUN 22, 2014
Sample at the Public House on 6/20/14. Haven’t had this one since the 4th Anniversary Extravaganza when I had a cold and wasn’t tasting much. Pours a clear dark amber with a medium beige head. Aroma of malt, bourbon and raspberry. Flavor starts with raspberry, then moves to malt and bourbon before a slightly sour raspberry finish. Caterwaul (83) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUN 21, 2014
Holy crap. Hooooooly crap. Draft at the public house. Pours a dark, cloudy pink-purple. Thin head reasts on top and dissipates quickly. Taste and nose are dense with chocolate, vanilla, blackberry and raspberry. Sweet and fruity, creamy and yummy. Tastes just like Graeter’s Black Raspberry Chocolate Chunk ice cream. Medium-full body. drinks easily and REALLY sneaks up. It is easily my favorite beer I’ve had in the past month. maybe in the past year. JStax (7309) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - JUN 21, 2014

Tasted on 4/28/12 with the Nashville and Knoxville crews at Curtis’ old house, big thanks to JR for bringing this one. Pours hazy burnt orange with no head, but a thin bubbly collar of lace. The nose is super dry and funky brett with tart raspberry, vanilla, maple, and caramel bourbon. The flavor is the same, a nice marriage of dry brett funk, bourbon barrel, and tart raspberry. The body is full with light carbonation and a long, dry, brett funk, bourbon barrel, and tart raspberry finish.
22oz bottle. 91/156. Poured a hazy amber color with a small sized off white head. Fruity, bourbon, berries, vanilla, and wood. Damico (3146) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 8, 2013
Pours thick unclear amber with no head. Aroma is very light, a bit of yeast fruitiness. Flavor is still hot bringing the bourbon barrels and raspberries with some syrupy malts all blended well together. alexsdad06 (11224) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - APR 3, 2013
22 oz. bottle consumed in 2010 from notes. Pours a hazy amber brown color with a small khaki head. The aroma has big raspberry fruit with a tart character, caramel malts, bourbon, wood and vanilla. The flavor has more of the caramel malt coming through, bourbon, tart raspberry, wood and vanilla. The alcohol does show a bit, but is mostly warming. jtclockwork (17654) - , New Jersey, USA - MAY 13, 2012
