wchesser (2074) - Denver, Colorado, USA - NOV 11, 2015
’14 vintage drank in Nov. ’15. Bottle 277/325. Thanks, Chris!! Slightly murky dark brown. Nose is sweet bourbon, toffee and caramel. Flavors follow, with some light yeast esters. If you told me it was a BB english barleywine I’d believe you. Sweet and malty but not cloying. Rich stuff for a snowy night.

cpetrone84 (1810) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 1, 2015
Pour is a dark murky ugly brown with a small amount of tan head that dissipates immediately. Nose is heavy bourbon and some charred wood with faint notes of sweet candied sugar. Flavor is also heavy on the bourbon and wood, actually in a nice way. The quad doesn’t make a ton of appearance, malts are actually fairly rich, a hint of malty sweetness in back. Fuller body, fairly dry, a touch chalky in the feel.

Art (3217) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 10, 2015
Dark reddish brown pour. Aromas of dark fruits, brown sugar, caramel, butter scotch. Taste was sweet with light bourbon heat. Nothing too crazy. Like dessert in a glass.
